Namibian musician Eric Sell aka EES is here on a mission: He wants to introduce Europeans to the happy tunes of Kwaito, a musical genre that emerged in the ghettos of Johannnesburg. In the Pulse studio, he talks about what it was like to grow up as a white African in Namibia and how he collaborated with a man that used to fight in a war against his father.
