The electorate in Britain have cast their votes and it's now down to the result. Ahead of the vote British public was deeply divided on the Brexit issue. DW sent a correspondent to Aberystwyth in Wales to hear what people were saying.
Members of the UK Independence Party have voted to sack their latest leader, Henry Bolton, after only five months in charge. The anti-EU, anti-immigration group appears to have lost its way since Brexit.
UK Brexit Minister David Davis' speech in Vienna sought to reassure EU leaders. Brexit would not lead to an Anglo-Saxon race to the bottom and Britain would not be plunged into a Mad Max-style world, he said.
