Made for Minds – Germany’s voice in the world
Your visit will start with an overview of our company profile and fields of activity. You will get an insight look at our modern multimedia organization that provides news and information in 30 languages. By introducing you to our journalistic content we will illustrate our brand topics and values. You are also going to learn about DW Akademie, Germany's leading organization in international media development.
Meet with experts
Following the general introduction you will have the opportunity to discuss topics of specific interest with one or several of our qualified experts from more than 60 nations. Depending on your country of origin, we can also try to arrange a visit to the news desk for your native language.
A variety of impressions
On our tour through the broadcasting center you will explore various components of our studio operations, such as a live broadcast, audio, video or television production. We will also explain to you our distribution channels. The tour is organized around the production and broadcasting activities on that particular day.
Our multilingual guides from different nationalities will also explain to you the architecture and history of the famous Schürmann building.
The visitor program usually takes two hours. Talks with experts and special programs, or panels, may last longer.
The size of the group may vary between six and 20 participants. Larger groups demand a special agreement. Our service is free of charge and can be arranged from Monday to Friday at 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. The tours are available in German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Russian.
Please let us know which topics you are most interested in. We kindly advise you to contact us at least one month before your visit.
We thank you for your interest and look forward to your visit.
