With more than 300,000 tickets sold, the Berlinale International Film Festival is the biggest of its kind in the world. Fans line up for hours to snag admittance. Stars rendez-vous on the red carpet. Restored masterpieces, as well as new works illuminate the silver screen, some vying for the coveted Golden and Silver Bears. And emerging directors engage in "Berlinale Talents" to scope out their prospects for success. It's a convergence of art, glamour and business.
