Turkey has always been proud of its armed forces. But the truth is that the military is plagued by rampant bullying. According to the army’s own figures, there have been 900 suicides over the past decade, many of those as a result of bullying. Until now such abuse has been a taboo subject, but not any more, as Dorian Jones reports from Istanbul.
