The ministers will likely discuss Myanmar’s handling of the Cyclone Nargis disaster, which claimed hundreds of thousands of lives and left more than two million homeless. The military regime of Myanmar drew widespread criticism for not accepting help from Western nations initially despite the magnitude of the disaster.
