A commission set up by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has issued a damning report on corruption in athletics. It says senior officials in the ruling body IAAF must have known about widespread bribe-taking and doping in the sport.
Two leading figures in biathlon's world governing body have temporarily left their posts over allegations of a doping cover-up. This followed a raid by Austrian police on the IBU's Salzburg headquarters.

Sport's highest court has thrown out requests from athletes and coaches to lift the order banning them from the Winter Olympics. Russia has been forbidden from participating in the games over a widespread doping scandal.
