Andreas Angelidakis studied architecture and lived in Los Angeles for a long time. Now he is back in Athens. He says the city is “sexy” and above all not boring. The son of a civil engineer, he shows us how the migration flows of the last century influenced the way Athens grew and shaped its cityscape – for example, when Greeks were expelled from Asia Minor nearly a century ago and had to find a new home.
