Fighting between two ethnic groups in the Central Africa Republic has left 45 people dead and 11,000 displaced, according to Human Rights Watch. Civilians were the target in the reprisal killings.
Jubilant scenes have engulfed Zimbabwe's capital after news of the release of "This Flag" movement leader Evan Mawarire. The popular pastor had urged a fight against corruption. Privilege Musvanhiri reports from Harare.
Zimbabwean pastor Evan Mawarire, famous for launching the #ThisFlag protest, has been denied bail by a Harare court. He was arrested on arrival from the US and is being charged with subverting the government.
Pastor Evan Mawarire has been freed after a court ruled his rights had been violated. The activist had been charged with inciting violence and then with attempting to overthrow a constitutionally-elected government.
