The Tyrol region with the famous ski resort of Kitzbühel is one of Austria's top winter attractions. Visitors and locals can enjoy around 150 kilometers of ski slopes - as well as the legendary après-ski.
Austria’s Tyrol region is a prime destination during the winter months. An essential part is the après-ski, which has now put wintersports hub Kitzbühel near the top of the international jet set’s itinerary.
After seemingly endless delays, Hamburg’s new Elbphilharmonie concert hall is finally about to open. We also explore the ski slopes around Kitzbühel and meet a clown in the famous Cirque du Soleil.
An evening of après-ski activity in the holiday resort of Ischgl could end in a hefty fine - at least if you are caught still wearing ski boots as wearing these has been banned from 8 pm to 6 am.
