On February 7 a controversial referendum will take place in Slovakia. People will be asked to answer three questions concerning gay marriage, the adoption of children by gay couples and the right to refuse sexual education in schools. The referendum is an initiative of the so-called ‘Alliance for Family’, a civil initiative supported by around 100, mostly Christian, groups. Laura Postma reports.
