The 2017 Women's Euro has been a huge success on and off the pitch. As the semifinals approach, the tournament gears up towards a record-breaking finish. But who will be left standing at the end of it all?
For much of the Euros opener, it seemed the Netherlands might start their own shindig with a whimper. But DW'S Matt Pearson was in Utrecht to see the moment the fashionably late hosts sparked the tournament in to life.

The tournament opener was a national record for a women's football match with 21,732 in Utrecht to see the Dutch take three points in Group A. In the other game in the group, Denmark edged out Belgium.
