À la carte: Venison with Beetroot and Noodles Rolled in Poppy Seeds

We head to northeastern Germany to the town of Fürstenhagen in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. There Austrian ex-pat Daniel Schmidthaler runs a restaurant called the "Alte Schule" - which means old school - and where he cooks for us from an Austrian recipe: venison with beetroot and noodles rolled in poppy seeds.
