À la carte - a recipe from Istanbul

We're at the Kantin Restaurant in Istanbul where owner and chef Şemsa Denizsel has fulfilled a lifelong dream when she opened the restaurant 12 years ago. Her aim: to offer her guests Turkish dishes prepared according to the rules of the slow food movement. For us she makes köfte (Turkish meatballs), aubergines, and chickpeas with fresh mint.
