Rodríguez Jiménez, Gerardo

Gerardo Rodríguez Jiménez has been working as a CEO of the newspaper El Diario for more than 15 years. He has received both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in investigative journalism as well as obtaining a master’s degree in multicultural education from the University of Texas at El Paso. In the course of his academic, entrepreneurial and journalistic career he has received multiple awards and prizes. He has also taken active part in national and international conferences, presentations and dissertations in which he analyzed violence as a phenomenon. Moreover he has participated in several documentaries and conducted ethnographic investigations about ancestral methods of punishment at the Peruvian Amazon Basin.
