In Deutschland konnte man sich vor lauter Wahlwerbung nicht mehr retten - überall hingen Wahlplakate, im TV wurden minütlich Wahlwerbespots ausgestrahlt und die Menschen diskutierten, ob sie dieses Mal wählen sollten oder nicht.

In Germany the campaigns were ubiquitous, with posters plastered throughout the cities and the countryside and a barrage of campaign spots on TV. Politicians were encouraging voters to go to the polls, and they, in turn, were discussing whether they should cast their ballots this time or not.
